Founded in 1890 by sawmill supervisor Henry Harding Tift, Tifton-Tift County has its roots in modern agriculture. Discover scenic, sprawling farmlands that use state-of-the-art agricultural technology, and relish in a blast-from-the-past historic working farmstead. But just because we value heritage, doesn't mean we're old fashioned. Today, there is a perfect collection of museums, art galleries, shopping venues, historic sites, restaurants, and outdoor recreation opportunities to please a variety of tastes.

When you visit the historic Agrirama, you journey back to another time, and for a little while, enjoy exploring a different and more peaceful world. Discover the 19th century living history museum with its two working farmsteads, cotton gin, sawmill, grist mill, print shop, drug store Masonic lodge, Victorian home, steam train, and country store.
