Georgia Restaurants
Georgia is known for great southern cooking, its famous low-country boil, Brunswick stew, great seafood, and Georgia barbecue. However, Georgia restaurants also offer quite a varied cuisine and caters to all types of food and entertainment, whether you are looking for a fine dining experience or family style restaurants. There are gems to be found all over the state. Most small towns and cities have at least one superb restaurant. And, of course, Atlanta and Savannah have many great restaurants with a selection of international cuisines.
Atlanta Metro Restaurants
Restaurants in the Atlanta Metro Region offer a virtually unlimited number of dining options. If dining out is one of your favorite things to do, then you are in for a treat! Perhaps the restaurant considered number one in the city is Bacchanalia, located in a renovated warehouse in the Buckhead area. Atlanta Magazine says this about Bones: “Atlanta’s best steakhouse. Virtually in a class by itself.” The Buckhead Life Restaurant Group operates several highly acclaimed restaurants in Buckhead, including Bluepointe, 103 West, Pano’s and Paul’s, Atlanta Fish Market, and Veni Vidi Vici.
“What’ll you have? What’ll you have?” That’s what you hear at the world-famous Varsity Drive-In across I-85 from Georgia Tech. Our suggestion: one naked dog, a chili steak with onions, ring one (onion rings), and an F.O.

The same can be said for The Dillard House located in the very northeast corner of the state in the town of Dillard.
However, when you think of restaurants in the Northeast Georgia Mountains, do not limit your thinking to BBQ or family-style restaurants.
