"Wildwater Ltd. is widely recognized as one of the finest whitewater rafting outfitters in the country."

Since 1971, our attention to detail has made us a leader in the outdoor adventure industry. Providing high quality experiences on our adventure rafting trips is our number one priority. You may not recognize our state of the art equipment or know of our intense staff training programs, but you will recognize our commitment to Quality, Safety, and Service.

The Ocoee River
The Ocoee River with big, closely spaced rapids makes it one of the most popular whitewater rivers in the nation. No other river in the East offers the degree of challenge, variety and consistent water flow that is found here.
In fact, the Ocoee has been rated one of the ten best whitewater rivers in the country by Canoe Magazine. It has been chosen as the site of national whitewater championships on several occasions as well as home of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater competition.

And as a dam controlled river, water levels on the Ocoee remain high all summer.

The Upper Ocoee
The Upper Ocoee is a perfect half-day trip for experts, novices, family groups, and recreation clubs. Dry prior to the Olympics, the Upper Ocoee has once again come alive. This section features the Olympic Whitewater course plus five miles of exciting whitewater. Our professionally-trained guides will navigate you through class III and IV rapids such as "Humongous," "Let's Make a Deal," and "Slam Dunk."

The Ocoee Middle
The Ocoee Middle is a perfect half day trip for experts, novices, family groups and recreation clubs. Rapids like Vegematic, Double Trouble, and Tablesaw mean continuous excitement as you paddle under the instruction of a guide.

Ocoee River Upper & Middle Combo
The Ocoee Upper/Middle Combo comes action-packed with 10 miles of class III-IV whitewater. This six-hour adventure begins with a small warm-up section, however, the difficulty soon increases as rapids like "Mikey's" and "Let's Make a Deal" are just around the bend. These rapids are followed by the Olympic Course where fast current gives way to big hydraulics and even bigger waves. After a quick portage around the dam, the Ocoee has two additional hours of some of the most popular whitewater in the East.

Ocoee River Basin Canopy Tour:
For those headed to the Ocoee River this summer, you can now experience the adventure of flying on zip lines. Located just 1 mile east of Wildwater's Ocoee River Basin Canopy Tour, our newest canopy tour adventure has now opened. Wildwater recently acquired over 14 wooded acres just outside of Ducktown that is now an extension of the Ocoee River Basin Adventure Center with a variety of outdoor adventure programs and services. First on the list is a wooded and tree based canopy tour with 9 zip line sections and three swinging sky bridges that highlight the vast history and beauty of this once barren landscape. Canopy Rangers will share both the history and the wonder of the recovery of this area from red clay back to deep green forest.
Each participant is provided with state-of-the-art equipment including helmets, full body harnesses, trolley, gloves, tether lines, with 2 canopy rangers accompanying each group. All Canopy Tour Rangers are trained and the course is ACCT certified to provide the utmost in safely and fun!
